Low back pain is extremely prevalent in our country, in fact, research reveals that 80% of Americans will suffer from low back pain at some point in their life. Here are three easy things that can be done to prevent low back pain.
1. Exercise regularly. Keeping your body moving with exercise allows blood to be circulated to all of the tissues of the body and keeps the tissue pliable and prevents injury.
2. Drink Plenty of water. Keeping your body fully hydrated can increase the thickness of our spinal discs and help prevent low back pain.
3. Get Adjusted. Research shows that spinal problems can be present long before symptoms ever present themselves. Regular spinal check-ups can take care of these spinal problems before pain ever presents itself.
Do these 3 things and you'll be well on your way to having a pain free low back.

Migraine Headaches
Over the last few years,I have treated many patients in Eden Prairie and the surrounding suburbs that have suffered with migraine headaches and I have realized the devastating effects that migraine headaches can have on people suffering with them. Lost relationships, lost jobs, thousands of dollars spent on therapies that have been ineffective for them, it can such a huge burden for these people.
When seeking options for how to treat your migraine headaches, it can be very confusing with all of the information out there on what to do. I came across a study this morning from the University of Maryland Medical School that can shed some light on the subject for those of you who are suffering.

Chiropractic care, in my experience, can be extremely effective in reducing the intensity and frequency with which the headaches occur.
